Reception Lobby
The opening of the Bull Ring gave retail in Birmingham a new focus, encouraging the owners of the City Plaza development to convert their ground floor retail units into open plan prime office space.
Monteith Scott were appointed to develop designs for a new reception lobby, creating the exclusive image required for a prestige city centre location. The existing double-height space had previously formed the entrance to the retail development, but would now become a dedicated entrance for the office accommodation.
The emphasis was on quality materials with a large curved polished plaster wall forming the focal point to the space. As with all Monteith Scott projects, lighting was of key importance to us and is a strong feature of the design.
